Summer Solstice

Summer has finally arrived with my Iris blooming and my Peonies just on the verge! With my new metering techniques learned, I hope to have better pictures for viewing with more accurate colors! So far so good! Lesson learned and stored , hopefully to be used often! We brought in the longest day (well actually the 1st full day) of summer with a fire for roasting marshmallows for the neighbourhood kids. Taylor was in charge of keeping the kids fed and watered while the adults enjoyed the chance to catch up and share a few laughs! We are blessed with the best "Cul-de-Sac" of friends!

I think every DOG deserves a BOY! This was so funny! We brought home a new toy for Miss Bella that kind of spooked her! It was a package of three stuffed animals from Costco that had "real to life" noise makers in them! Everytime we made them "talk", Bella's tail went between her legs and she was off running! Taylor became her safe place to hide. She quickly gained her courage to play with them, and has since torn them all apart! fun while it lasted!

Father's Day!

So today is Father's Day! Here is a very recent picture of my wonderful DAD! Doesn't he look great! Me and my sisters didn't age him at all! In keeping with tradition my card and gift are late but my wishes always on time...I do not know how I always lose track of time..but never fails! Anyhow, I am allowed to visit this summer so I can't be all that bad!

Bill is celebrating his day with a trip to the soccer field with Taylor and Bella while I slave over the perfect potatoe salad to have with dinner tonight. If the rain clouds stay away we'll BBQ as well!

Who can resist a little Skippy P.B.? Though Bella is awfully cute she does not listen so well. That being said....her cuteness is no longer keeping her out of trouble or always in my good books!
