The last Friday of the year is here and we survived another Christmas. They seem to come faster than I ever remembered as a child! We had a very quiet Christmas for a change this year, just the three of us! Chose to go out for dinner instead of spending the day in the kitchen, which was JUST FINE in my books! The weather has been really cold, which has been a great incentive to stay put at home and catch up on well needed "down" time! Life will get busy again once the routine of work, school & hockey starts up again.

Fridays mean Friends With Flair days at Unity Stamps. This is a card I made for a friend's birthday using the set "Growing In Unity". It was a free set with order that I received this year, and wasn't sure if I was in love with it! After playing with it, I am sure it will become a favourite.

Today is a great day! Not only were the Mayans wrong, but it is winter solstice. The day will be the shortest of the year, which means tomorrow the days will start to get longer! I find the short, dark days leading up to this point get harder to take every year! My energy plummets and my brain & body seem to want to go into hibernation mode! In a few weeks I know I will begin to feel the effects of more daylight! It will be a "breathe of fresh air" to my soul!

Sharing a card for Unity's Friends with Flair again, this will be the last Christmas card I share until next year! Although I could keep making them as I LOVE the stamps I have from Unity Stamps with Christmas themes!

This stamp set just makes me happy, the images and sentiments are adorable...I know it will be well loved over the years!

Sending out Merry Christmas wishes to all!

I haven't shared much for a while & today I am short on time and words! I want a chance to win with Unity Stamp's Friend's with Flair, so here is my card for the day! I love this stamp and sentiment "don't get your tinsel in a tangle" and used it for lots of cards this season. I especially like it for this gift card holder.

The gift card hold is cut using CTMH Artiste Cricut Cartridge and of course the stamp is from Unity!
