Time for a quick blog post! Sometimes I have to push myself to post here, Facebook is so much quicker! This is the place to be when I have a few more words to say!  :-)

Two weeks ago while helping out at The Great Canadian Scrapbook Carnival In Edmonton, I bought a neat little portable scanner called the Flip Pal! It's perfect for scanning lots of photos! I have been playing with it (SO EASY!) and am quite impressed. It's small enough that I will be taking it to Nova Scotia next time to scan some pictures that my parents have. I'd love copies of those "blasts from the past"! It comes with a great little stitching program so you are by no means restricted to a 4x6 photo!

During a burst of scanning, I came across some pictures from Bill's collection of work photos. I don't often scrapbook his pictures as they are his stories to tell if he chooses. However I think it's still important to add them to our albums. His days of geology fieldwork were some of his favourites times! The pictures I used in this layout were buried in a pile...out of sight, out of mind!

Karen Foster patterned paper  / sticker embellishments / coil brads
stamps from: Bo Bunny / Technique Tuesday / Unity
Colorbox Chalk ink
Webster's letter stickers
Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L

These photos were perfect for Kelly Klapsteins's Double The Fun Sketch for Canadian Scrapbooker Magazine. The papers are all from Karen Foster Designs...a great fit for the pictures, all of the words on the one paper were just what I needed!

This was a fun sketch to work with! For a chance to be published in Canadian Scrapbooker Magazine...work with it and share your layout!
